For his birthday, March 25. Those of the family that live close enough (We are dropping like flys, Mom in Canada, Chase in Wisconsin and Kaitlin in Mississippi) we gathered at the cemetery to let some balloons with letters on them up to Quinn. Our original plan was to have a picnic at the cemetery but when we woke up to a thick layer of snow, and by thick i mean like 6 inches or so! It did melt through the day leaving us with a cold windy late afternoon, but that cant stop us!
We all showed up, wrote our letters, read a special book about how angels take the balloons to heaven, and then sang him happy birthday. We headed to Luke and Hils for dinner and cupcakes and a face time chat with mom. Perfect night if you ask me!
I love my family, I love the gospel that makes it possible for me to know that we will see him again. I am grateful for my Savior. For His Ultimate Sacrifice. Easter time is a special holiday. One i find myself crying a lot during.
Sacrament meeting Sunday was perfect. Perfect speakers and perfect that only by way of miracle BOTH BOTH kids fell asleep and I was able to just sit and listen and feel the warm spirit testify of all the truths of the atonement.
