Reason for My Relationship with Sadie
So many of you have been worried for Sadie....and my threatening her life and saying she is on my hit list....Well here is the explanation in pictures. And may i note this is only ONE thing that she does that causes my love/hate relationship with the little lady. But i do love her, just pray for the day she will grow out of her puppyness! :)
The first thing i see when i walk in the house from a long hard day at work--notice the openeing in the bottom part of our make shift double level barrakade. (she can clear the gate if we dont stack it.
What i found in out living room.....a whole newspaper, 2 vacuum bags, and one envelope SHREDDED!!!!!!!!
Thank heavens she didnt eat the slippers as well!!!
So there you have it. Do i have understanding in my dislike for my dog at times now?? :)
Feel the Love
Here is a little bit of fun.....
Here is how it works-the 1st 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive at some point during this year a handmade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment here write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going( or cut and paste..no one will judge you, cause that is what i did). Then come back and let me know you are going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift. Remember only the 1st 3 will qualify. Good Luck!!!

Two Updates in One
I am posting two updates, good for me!!
I just had to write about mine and Brandon's Valentines. I have always loved Valentines Day, but had problems with it as well until I finally met the man of my dreams. Since I met Brandon Valentines Day is just so much more exciting and i feel the love of it so much more!! :)
This Valentines was so special and fun.
Thursday i had to work late, so i threw meatballs in the crock pot for us to have when i got home. I had not planned any further as to what we were going to have for dinner, so when Brandon said he was home i so happily pushed that responsibility onto him. He loves to cook, so really its not a mean thing of me! I told him i would be home no later than 8 and we could eat. Well 8 rolls around, and i call to tell him i will be a while, 8:30 comes and goes with me calling to apologise and telling him to eat with out me....he refused, said he could wait. 8:45 comes and i call and honestly am feeling so bad that i am not home with him eating....i was hungry so i knew he had to be too, and being the emotional woman i am these days had tears welling up in my eyes when i said i didn't think i would be there for another half hour. Finally 9:15 comes around and i can FINALLY leave work. I call Brand and tell him i am on my way and he just says OK see you in a few.
So i walk in and look at the table and there are the most beautiful flowers, candles lite, and dinner all spread out on the table, including a yummy smoothie and brownies for dessert!! Oh gee make a girls heart sing!!! It made my very long night drift right away...that is after i apologized for my being so late about 50 times. We had such a nice dinner. I have the best hubby in the world. I am grateful for him everyday of my life. He really does complete me and make me the happiest person alive. I am still enjoying my beautiful flowers!! I hope they last for a while, they make me smile every time i see them!!

Well then came Valentines Day and i wanted to still do something that day, so i found heart shaped Rib eye steaks at the market, and asparagus...yummy thought I...bought them right up. Then planned to have a red dinner..minus the yummy asparagus. So we had red meat, red jello, red cottage cheese(don't worry just sprinkled paprika on it) with our baked potato, rolls and red jam, red drink, and last but not least chocolate covered strawberries. I had a blast thinking of red things to have for dinner. Here are a few pictures. (I couldn't find my camera the night of my wonderful dinner from Brandon, so these are the only ones i have to share.) Oh and this was the first night we have used my china i bought when i was like 17 that i love!! It was a fun night, just wonderful to have a nice dinner with my man.
The rest of the night was unconventional...Brandon poured a cement step down in "the hole" our basement....but i feel the love from that action....now i wont die when i go down to get food storage!!
Well that's long enough. If you are still reading you deserve a gold metal!!!

New Prego Picture
I thought that I would take the advice of many others and take prego pictures throughout my pregnancy. Many people regret not doing it and have said to, so even though i have felt prettier in my life I am taking pictures and really it makes me smile to think that the reason i am getting bigger is for such a fun reason!! So here is my updated prego picture. We are 23 weeks pregnant this week!!!!

Why Why Why
I got these in an email and i laughed after each one, so i am going to share.
>Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are almost dead?
> Why do banks charge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they already know there is not enough money?
> Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars; but have to check when you say the paint is still wet?
> Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?
> Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?
> Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
> Whose idea was it to put an 'S' in the word 'lisp'?
> If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes?
> Why is it that no matter what color bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?
> Is there ever a day that mattresses are not on sale?
> Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?
> Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?
> Why is it that no plastic bag will open from the end on your first try?
> How do those dead bugs get into those enclosed light fixtures?
> Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?
> In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?
> How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?
> The statistics on sanity is that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

A Unexpected Death in Our Home......
Today we have had a death in our family. This death was unexpected, and has devastated us. We knew he was getting old, and had few weeks to live, but he decided that today was the day he would send up the last drop of hot water. Yes this death was a new acquaintance of only 2 months, but we were so attached to him!! Mister Water Heater has now gone to heaven leaving his family with nothing but dang freezing cold water in the dead of winter.....rude if you ask me!!
So tonight we are up late draining him, and removing his corps so we can prepare for a newer younger better running gas water heater. Our dear old friend was only a electric and well I had great dislike for him and his inability to serve me with enough hot water to fill my much loved baths. So while the death is sad it is an occasion to break out in song to have a brand new water heater.
A special thanks to Brandon and his parents for staying till midnight helping us pour a cement pad to set the new water heater on so it had time to set up before the new one gets installed.... HOPEFULLY Monday. Its been a project tonight...cleaning up the old one, vacuuming out all the crap that the other people had it set on, and poured the new one. I feel so blessed that i have a hubby that can work hard and know how to do things around the house. I am also grateful for in-laws that are so willing to come over and lend a helping hand as well as all the materials we needed to fix up and pour a cement pad.
So i bid farewell to the old and welcome in the new...and ask for patience in waiting for the niceness of hot water.

Old MacDonald had a Farm.....
Happy Day!! Yesterday finally decided which bedding we were buying and bought it. I have been doing my shopping around since....well honestly before i was even pregnant! :) I found that ebay has to be the very very best place, that is usually the last place i look...but my bestest friend bought hers off there, so i gave it a try and wala.....Our little farmer will have a farm to run!! I am getting so so so excited to paint his room and get everything ready for him. I am a little impatcient for him to come, so maybe this will be yet another lesson to learn that i struggle with...man this little boy sure is teaching me lots and he isnt even on the plant earth yet! I love him for it...hopefully i can learn these lessons well so i can be the best mommy ever!
As far as my little swimmer, he is most definatly keeping up with his name. He is a mover, although i do realize that i have no other child to relate his wiggleyness with, I still think he is a super active kiddo! Its so amazing to feel him and I love every minute of it!
Other than the fact the me and Brandon are suffereing with a nasty cold everything is going well... life is great and moving along.
Here is a picture of the bedding we bought and our little son the swimmers newest photo from his photoshoot the other day.Our little boy!! with his fist ready to hit if the ultrasound tech pushes on him again!! Fisty boy!! :)
