Blakey Blue is 9 months

Blake my deepest apologies for not keeping up on your updates like i did the others. Mommy has gone MIA in the blogging world due to life becoming an insane mess of kids, kids more kids, messes, and just life. Don't take the lack of updates as my not caring about what you are accomplishing month to month. Quite the contrary....but i don't have time to document it as well. So here is a wonderful tribute to my blessed surprised baby who makes my life complete and i cannot imagine our family without you in it right now.

At 9 months you weigh a whopping 25 pounds. You wear 18 month clothes but 24 month clothes fit more comfortably...in fact right now you and your big bro Parley Jay share clothes. Both sizes. Whichever i grab you wear. You both wear the same size diapers too. Its all about sharing right now.

You are a crawling champion. Your so fast. You are pulling yourself up on everything and have even pushed off to stand several times. We are anticipating you will just take off one day....i think to clobber your well meaning brothers and sister. They love you just a little too much most days. Most days you love them just as much, others you need your bubble. I cant blame you, your poor mauled little big baby.

You are so happy. You giggle all the time. Your so ticklish. You love to snuggle into mommy and daddy. You give the best slobbery kisses every. When your in the mood to kiss, watch out, its kisses after kisses for 10 minutes. I sometimes feel like i need a face wash after. :)

One of my favorite things about you is that when you get your bum changed you giggle the whole time. Most kids cry, or try to wiggle away, you, you giggle. It makes my day! I surely don't mind changing your bum.

You chatter more and more these days. You say mama and dada. You don't care to sign much. but you don't really ever stop eating...and i have to decide your done when you've out ate all the other kids. :) So its not too concerning that you don't make your wants more known.

You eat. And eat. And eat. You love your bottle. You love food. You the last few weeks boycotted baby food. So now its little pieces you pick up to eat or your fruity favs in the refillable feeder thing. There is nothing you wont eat. Nothing. It shows big guy. :)

You are loving banging things together to make sound. You are a champion traveler just like your siblings. You need a new car seat soon, your just so big in that infant carrier. You love TV. I hate how much you love it. In the van you twist your head around as far as you can to watch the show the older kids are. Funny guy.

You love your blankey. You suck on it to put yourself to sleep. You suck on it to comfort yourself. You suck on it when your happy. Its sopppy wet all. day. long. I have to wash it so often I'm afraid its going to wear out.

In overview you are the most easy going, happy, chunky guy. We are all head over heals for you. We feel blessed to have been given such a special baby. Cant wait to see what you become!

We didnt do a 9 month well child check on you. Your healthy, Happy. And im outta time to drive to sweetest dr bean.

This big guy is 5 months today. He can scoot himself around on the floor quite efficiently trying to keep up with his brothers & sister, But is like a Turtle who can't move on his back! He is almost 21 pounds wears size 4 diapers and 12 month clothes. He likes his jumper and is a huge mamas boy. Can't imagine life without this

It's this "big mans" half birthday today. He is such a blessing in our lives. He is our only blue eyes baby. He loves his big sister. He laughs the best for her. He loves to wrestle with his big bro parley. He is in love with his teddy and is quite find of his mama. He LOVES food and eats tons of it. He has two teeth, wears 12 month clothes, sits up and scoots on the floor. Has a hard time rolling over, but who can blame him, that's a big body to roll! He talks just a little, is such a mellow calm guy. We adore him.

6 months

This sweet boy is growing up. He LOVES food. Trying his hardest to crawl and get up to sitting. He eat everything in sight. He is so happy and easy going. Only crys when mom is busy for too long with the others and needs some lovin. He loves outside and the doggie. Love you blue eyes!

WHAT! 2 teeth in my not even 6 month old! Unheard of in my house! The other 3 not until they were about 10 months did theyget their first. Just because you're the size of a 12 month old you don't need to act like it

Blakey Blue Eyes

Im behind and im sure its just going to get worse. But I love looking back on these kids and remember what they were like as infants, toddlers and such so I will continue to attempt to keep up best as I can.

4 Month Old

Our Blake Blue Eyes or Blakey Shaky or as of lately Brooklyn calls him Big man is a complete joy. He is so content. He patiently puts up with constant touching poking and pulling from his siblings.
He isn't as in love with his binki, but still takes it much better than the other 3. He needs it at night when we are trying to put him to sleep.
He is still sleeping in our room. I have fears of him and Parley sharing. One or the other will wake the other up. Besides soon the big 2 will move downstairs to their new room (hopefully in a month) and then the two little boys can have their own rooms!! YEA!
He is spoiled rotten and loves his mommy. Im a sucker for him too. I let him sleep and nurse during the night, which I know without a doubt is why he isn't sleeping through the night anymore. He was before Christmas, then I got tired and sick of getting up with him so I put him in bed with me and nurse him while I sleep on. Neither of us get great sleep, and now he loves to be snuggled up close at night. Bad habit I started that needs to stop soon.
He is generally a happy guy, but when he gets mad lately oh my goodness watch out. He screams and screams and screams till I A) nurse him B)snuggle him up in his big blanket snug as a bug with a binky and he will eventually give in.
He is humongous. Really. HUGE. He is in 6-9 month clothes, but also fits 12 month clothes too. I just pulled 12 month clothes out of Parleys dresser to put into Blakes. Bad part is Parely still fits in 12 month jeans and Blake isn't far behind. Parley better hurry up and grow or he will be sharing clothes with his little brother soon. I fear summer will come and both will be in 18 month clothes together. (better on the laundry piles though)
I havnt started rice cereal yet...he is big enough on my milk....but I also have to nurse him so much to keep up with his needs that im going to be soon enough giving him cereal.
He can roll with assistance from his back to his belly. He gets far on his side and just needs help to finish it...usuially he is turing to find the TV and then stops cause he can see it. Seriuos. He has rolled from his belly to back a couple times but I think it was an accident, not intentional. He is so big its a lot of mass to move around. :)
He likes to swing, he likes his jumper, he is uncomfortable in the bumbo cause he is so big. He loves the bouncer chair though.
He wants to sit up so badly. He pulls those abs in tight when I try and lay him down if he wants to stay sitting. I sat him up and he lasted a couple seconds all by himself. He got too excited and flopped himself forward.
He giggles. He smiles. for anyone.
He loves playing patty cake and ram sam sam. He loves momma little baby loves shortenbread.
Pretty much just likes to clap and sing with mom.
He is a traveling champion like his 3 older siblings. Just sleeps the whole time. He is almost grown out of his carseat.
He likes his bathtime, but not with his all siblings. They get a little loud and crazy for him. When its just him and Brookie or him an Kyler he lets them hold him and he is all relaxed and loves it. Good bonding time with them. Parley on the other hand never will bathe with him again...he dumps water all over his head.
THis kid is a future couch potato. He is constantly trying to turn himself to watch tv or Ipads. Strange critter.
Parley and Blake must have been special buddys in heaven. Parley is so active hyper and crazy, but Blake stares at him and smiles at him and lets him hold him all the time. He holds his hands when every Parley holds him. I can just tell its a different bond than with the older two kids. Whom he loves and he lets them take care of him. In fact he let her totally undress him, and put on a new diaper and clothes today. That's a patient 4 month old to put up with that much of a 3 year old!
I love this guy to death. He is my perfect surprise baby. Content. Happy. chubby wonderful to snuggle. I cover his droopy fat cheeks all day long in kisses. Love you Blakey Blue Eyes!

Parley Jake is 18 Months

The two on the left:its annoying when mom wants to take pictures. He had such attitude this time when i took pictures. It was entertaining.

My little curly top boy turned 18 months. We enjoy this happy little critter. He is a complete joy to have around. Putting all his health concerns aside. You could never find such a funny happy little dude.
He loves to tease. He gets the most adorable wrinkled nose when he thinks he is funny. Its the cutest.
He loves to love. He is the best kisser and snuggler out there. He loves to hold his little brother and loves to be snuggled by his big brother.
He wants to do everything his older siblings do.
He is finally growing, we think :) He did up up on the growth charts this time, instead of down, so thats a positive we will take.
 He throws the best temper tantrums of all the kids. He will hit and punch furniture scream at the top of his lungs and run around till he falls and then roll around. Its horrible and hilarious at the same time.
He still doesn't talk too much. His vocabulary consists still of mom, dad, Ky, Sadie, Nana (which is a sippy and his blanket and a banana) "wassat" whats that, NO, Mine, and that about does it. The rest is communicated with a high shrill scream that I could probably do without. I pray he catches up with his language development now he can hear better. I pray. Everyday. 
He is a horrible eater. Thanks to a constant sore throut for months and month until he got his tonsils out and then a sore throut from that. He chews up his food, sucks off the juices, and then spits it out. Its disgusting and frustrating. Some days he does better than others. He gets most of his calories from Pediasure and whole milk. He favorite food is fried eggs, yogurt, apple sauce, and any fruit. He like crackers too.
We still spoil him rotten and rock him to bed most nights. Ok most nights he is still pretty awake when he goes down, but i never just set him in bed and let him put himself to bed like i did the older two. He gets his rockin time wheather by mommy or daddy (nap or bedtime) it happens 2 times a day.
He ADORES his daddy. Love his Great Grandpa Burton, whom he bonded with while he stayed with Grandma Nancy when Blake was born. Now if he hears his voice on facetime calls to Grandma he comes a running to see his Great Grandpa. Its heart warming. He loves his Papa Childs lately too. I think he loves men in general.
His dark eyes, curley hair, adorable face have many wrapped around his little finger.
We adore this kid. He is our Boo, Pars, Parley Jake, and ParJay. We'd be lost and bored without his sparkling personality!!

 The sweetest ever. Parley wanted to hold Blake I went to had him to him and he layed down so i put Blakey next to him. He reached over and grabbed his hand and they both layed still for 5 minutes this way. Precious. I often think they were buddies in heaven and Blakey couldn't wait any longer to be with his brother, so he took matters into his own hands and got himself down to earth the be with his brother.

 The other day he pulled out the chair gathered his cup and a book and sat himself down for a good book and snack. It was adorable.
