24th Camping Trip

Our last camping trip of the summer was a blast and very wet. Sad that camping is over, thankful I dont have to pack up and go up the bumpy road pregnant anymore. We didnt take many pictures of this trip. But it was a good one.
The kids found that the trailer makes a great riding ramp
Beautiful stormy sky that would pour on us for a couple more hours on our ride
bundled up for the wet ride
Oops i forgot coats for me and Brandon....But he had to drive a 4 wheeler, so he got inventive. It was so cold and wet. I felt horrible for forgetting him.

Aquarium Visit

Ive been wanting to take the kids to the aquarium for over a year. We finally were able to get away for a day and see all these amazing fish. Their most favorite were the penguins by far. There is a book we have read that talks about how much a cat loves penguins. And he finally gets to go to the zoo to see them and he shouts "ITS PENGUIN DAY!!" So appropriately when they walked up the ramp and saw the penguins that is exactly what the two yelled about. They had a great time. Parley liked it, he wasn't fond of being in a stroller. Poor dude with a large pregnant mommy who refused to pack him around.

The adventure knocked the poor baby out!! He slept in my arms in the noisy play place in Arctic Circle while the kids ate and played some more.

rPetersen Reunion

My most fond memories still to this day come from our yearly Burton Reunion. So you can only imagine to be starting our Petersen Reunions comes with happy anticipation. This year didn't disappoint me nor the kids.
It started in Grover on Saturday night, then to church Sunday in Torrey. Then we packed in the truck and headed to Sheep Valley Cabin. Oh its so beautiful there. The next few days were filled with bug hunts, treasure hunt, rock painting, t-shirt dying, books with Grandma Nancy, Shooting Sling shots, shooting guns, running, laughing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and making priceless memories.
Then the week ended back in Grover with horse rides and Trickle Falls.
Perfect reunion. Perfect family time.
