Glued

Yesterday Kyler was having a rough night, and was up forever...he had a fever and well was just not feeling well AT ALL, but refused to be held, and wanted to scoot around, so i let him. Me and Brandon were watching a movie well i think the pictures says enough:

I think its cute...and it improved his mood!

ps in my defense for letting a 9 month old watch tv.....we were watching The Muppets :)

Nifty Nine

Wow what a month. Serious my little dude has a an eventful month...most of which i have already blogged about but this will just sum them all up:

We have a scooter and this scooter is getting quick

Mister Ky will venture to other rooms that mom is not in, just to practice his new found skill

He trying so SO hard to pull himself up to the coffee table, just not quite there and this FRUSTRATES him to the point of tears, OFTEN

Loves crawling under the coffee table, but ends up crying every time cause he bumps his head underneath

(you would think he would learn, but he never does)

We had to move his crib down a notch cause he was trying to pull himself up with his toy 

that hangs from the side

He boycotted baby food, so i only did soft foods for a week or so, and then tried baby food and he gobbled it, much easier to eat mushed food than chunky food i guess!! :)

He got his 4 front teeth, and then has broke through another top, and working on the other one

He gets his teeth brushed at night and LOVES it. He giggles the whole time.

He signs for milk

He waves

He cry's at men who try and talk to him...all but his daddy

He has tried to ween himself...sad for mom...so now we are only nursing in the mornings and at night

He gets SUPER excited when you get a bottle out (weird baby)

He jabbers now (just the last 2 days has started this)

He once again started using "mama" and it is always only when he is sad or frustrated

He absolutely loves his daddy and cry's when he walks out of the room

Loves the swings and slide at the park  

(yes we have gone lots this past week with the nice 40 degree weather)

 Loves his bus

and the train i grew up playing with

anything that moves on the ground is great fun!!

Loves playing with bubbles, he giggles when he pops them

he claps his hands all the time

Has mastered his mischievous smirk

and has the dang cutest toothy smile

He knows how to "work" mom and dad for what he wants

This involves just whining and we give it just to get some peace and quiet

(sad never thought i would do it, but it happens)

Gets super giggly at night time

Not sleeping though the night, again :( 

His favorite foods:

Banana, avocado, mac and cheese, toast, corn flakes, Cheerios, pears, yogurt, green beans, Gerber puffs, and Rice Rusks(these are his favorite snack, if you haven't tried them, you should)

Thinks the world revolves around the T.V. remote and having in it his hands and mouth

Ruined moms phone from sucking on it 

(stupid mom for giving it to him) 

squeals of joy escape very often when daddy plays with him

He clicks his tongue

Grinds his teeth ( moms least favorite new trick)

Will not leave his socks on, so we now have to wear shoes if we leave the house so we don't loose socks

Got his first candies..from Grandma Nancy for Valentines day and he was in sugar heaven!

The next day the lady at the bank gave him a sucker and that was AWESOME!
and last but not least he is in love with opening and shutting all the doors in the house

Kyler is such a joy to me and Brandon. We are so blessed to have him and his silly little personality in our lives!

Well its official Ky is getting Teeth #5 and #6...the other two teeth on the top. Just making record of it! :)
The picture is from the other day...the best way to catch all 4 of his teeth coming in was when he was crying....so i tortured him by taking pictures, but i did comfort him when i accomplished my task! :)

And to show he forgave me moments later....

Not So Inch By Inch

Amazing how fast these kids learn to do things...he isnt crawling no, but watch out he has mastered the scooting skills! I put him all the way across the room and in no time he had inched his way to the other side and found a great play place...yup the book shelf. He pulled lots of his book out onto the floor...

When i turned around to see what he was up to and said his name...ya know with the tone of voice like i caught you...he looks up and gives me this grin
 

Really I love being a mom. It truly is a great blessing given to women. Even though it is hard on the pocket book to not be working, I wouldn't have it any other way...i would miss moments like these. I love this little man more than anything else in this life.

Inch By Inch

Here is Kyler scooting his way to me. I had a better video, but it wont load, so this will have to do for now.
He is growing up so fast. I have been wanting him to learn to crawl for a while now, just so he can follow when he wants me and i can move room to room, but now that he is scooting around, i am finding how un-baby friendly my house is...and i thought it was good! :)
