Go Jazz!!!

So last night, Brandon and I went to the Jazz game that Brandon got tickets to for Christmas......and we had a blast! They won, of course because we were there! : ) Here is some pictures of last night. Way to go Jazz, it was fun to go to a game. There is just something so fun about being there in person, and not through a tv. Even though we had cheap seats, we still were able to have a great time. So there is is and there you have it!! Who eats more? Brandon, he is good to eat all the food. I tend to prepare meals for a family, and well there are only two of us!! Plus he is my human disposal……he will eat what I cannot finish on my plate! Yay for husbands!!

Who said I love you first? Brandon…..i was too scared to say it back, I had only known him for maybe a week—at most two!! I did eventually tell him though, and I still do!! LOTS!

Who is smarter? Well that’s not a nice question! But…..I tell him all the time that I am the smartest woman alive…..and being married to that smart of a woman must make him the smartest man alive!!!

Whose temper is worse? We both are super easy going….no tempers here. But if one of us does….it would be me before it would ever be him.

Who does the laundry? Hate laundry, but Brandon does help a lot more that I would have ever expected him to!

Who does the dishes? I wish the dishwasher, but the lack of one lands on mine and Brandons hands. It depends on who is busy that night.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Looking at the foot of the bed, Brandon does. Its closer to the door, so the boogy man gets him first! : )

Who pays the bills? Me and the Computer. Brandon helps too though…it’s a community effort.

Who cooks dinner? Usually me, but Brandon is a great man, and helps cook too. Nice to have a man that likes to cook!

Who drives when you are together? Always Brandon. I am starting to forget how! : ) But its nice to be treated this way.

Who is more stubborn? Again, both pretty easy going, but if it had to be one of us, it would be me.

Whose parents do you see the most? I think its evenly split

Who proposed? Brandon, what girl has the guts!

Who has more friends? Well this isnt a nice question either. I have been away to school longer, so I know more people up here than he does.

Who has more siblings? Me, I have 4 brothers, Brandon has 2 brothers, 1 sister

Who wears the pants in the family? Well both of us when the laundry is all caught up! I think we both have a leg in the pants of the family

GOIN TO ENGLAND!!!

Yay!!! it is offical Me and Brandon get to go to England over his Spring Break!!!! We are going March 7-16. And are so excited. Thanks to Luke and Hil for living there, and making this trip possible!! Cherio!

A Bout of Bad Luck!

So i think someone is out to get me and Brandon lately! First, Brandon got hurt at work, landing him in the ER for 3 stitches in his lip, then to three different teeth and mouth doctors. But, now two root canals and waiting on 3 crowns later....he is doing better.
Then today, while cleaning up the kitchen, i cut my finger on my right hand super deep on my new little personal blender. I accidentally hit the button to make it go, while my finger was still over it......dumb i know, but it shouldn't have turned on!!! So anyway here i am typing with only 9 fingers instead of 10 cause my poor pointer is all bandaged up and in a splint so i don't bend it.....i cut it right on the crease....whats the luck!
I guess when it rains it pours!!! : )

Yummy Dinner

Ok so i made this for dinner tonight and we loved it! Good for those cold days or days when you just want yummy comfort food like chili! : )
Here it is....
Crock pot Chili
2 lb ground beef ( i only used 1.5lb and it was plenty!)
2 15oz cans Kidney Beans
2 14.5 Whole Tomatoes drained (I used the diced Italian spiced kind, and they worked yummier)
1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
4 Tablespoons Chili Powder (This seemed like a lot, i think 3 is plenty)
1 Garlic Clove Diced small
1 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Onion chopped
6 oz olives (different i know, but so so good!)
1/2 cup water (I added a little more--i like a little more liquid in mine)

Brown the Hamburger, then add all ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours---I cooked it on high for 2 hours and on low for 4 and it seemed just fine, just depends on your time i guess.

Our New Place

Well I can finally say that we are getting closer to being all unpacked, or i should say i am done unpacking until i have to pack again! :) We are loving our new place, and it is so nice to have real couches and to have a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom---all separate, not all in one huge space!

Happy New Year!!

Hey friends!!
So i still cannot believe that it is a new year already! Actually today is mine and Brandon's One Year of Meeting anniversary.....otherwise meaning that today, a year ago, me and Brandon met in our technology class. I am still so surprised how lucky i am to have him. I will never ever ever regret sitting by him that day in class. Really it was the best decision i could have ever made.
As for life now, one year later. We are still in love. We are learning about real life. I am learning how to be a better wife, and how to make a better nurse. Brandon got hurt last week at work, and i am learning that all my mother knew about injuries was learned, and now it is my turn. I have also realized that it is not as much fun being the nurse, i liked it better when it was my mommy! : ) Its hard work being a nurse! : ) Brandon is doing much better now though, so i must have done an OK job as his home health nurse! : )
I am still working at the daycare center. It is busy, but I love being with the kids. It is hard not to get breaks to go to class, now that i am graduated. I miss being able to get things done, this 8-5 job, plus prep is enough to wear a girl out! But at the end of the day it is worth all i am learning and all the fun i have with my 15 little monkeys!
Brandon is still going to school, for his last semester. He is taking 21 credits, he is following in my footsteps, not always a great idea! : ) He is already busy with homework and it was only the first week. He is also excited to be in the office part for work. He is doing his internship there, so he gets to learn more of the business stuff, and not so much labor stuff.

P.S. Sorry no pictures. I have very SERIOUS regrets, even enough to bring me some tears.... we didn't take any pictures of us this whole Christmas Season!! I really have no idea what in the world i was thinking. I think i took the break way to easy, and didn't take any. So sorry!! But not as sorry as i am i am sure! : (
