Literally HARD!
Today Kyler has learned the hard way what surfaces are hard. . . . .like:This morning while i was taking my shower he was playing with the shower curtain, pulled himself to his knees and was playing pee-ka-boo then, an odd thing happened...he pulled himself up to his feet (mind you he does this maybe once every other day, not a common thing) He then found it to be very entertaining to pound the inside of the tub, but that was not good enough...so he reached in further and before i could grab him( i was washing my hair) he fell in, ya face first into the tub full of big peoples soap that burns unsuspecting eyes that fell into it. Needless to say he was drenched, my shower came to a quick halt and we both exited the shower for the rest of the day...him with a red nose, red eyes, and a bump on the forehead, me with a half washed body.
Next....
Once he was dressed..again...and i got dressed we went to work...yup playing with the millions of toys he has...but none would to the trick this morning...he had a death wish...he pulled himself up again to his feet ( i am now thinking it will happen much more often!) and fell face first into the basket full of toys...again.... massive amounts of tears...but no bumps this time!!
He learned another....
That is not all that new around this house, actually quite old...he crawled under the fateful mean ol coffee table and smacked his head of the ledge...he does this 10 times a day, you would think he would learn something as basic as crawling under coffee table=pain....
Nope still not done (note this all happened before noon today)
ok i have to add a note to this one...this one was one of the worst...and it was my own fault it happened, not the innocent curious little boy that i love so much.
Ok see that massive piece of wood...well to be exact it is the piece of our counter top that was removed for our sink...yes very big, yes, VERY heavy. I brought it in the other day to bottle chicken....and never took it back out of the kitchen. It was leaning against the wall, and every time i saw it i thought, "i know better, Ky is going to be hurt by it" do you think i listened to myself...nope. So today, after 2 weeks or so of it laying against the wall he found it, pulled it, and it landed directly on his head....oh sad Tigger! He got a good bump on his forehead from it too. Needles to say it is out where it belongs now.
So all in one day i think Ky has had a day full of lessons i don't imagine he wanted to learn!
Here is him from the other day playing in the kitchen, with the chairs...what a cute monkey he is!! (i might be biased)
1. He thought he was so cool playing under the chair!
2. He could not for the life of him figure out how to get out, and like a mean ol mom i told him to get himself out of the mess he got himself into (i did provide lots of encouraging words!)
3. He figured he could lean hard on the dowel and pull up his entire body (the actually getting over not pictured, cause i didnt want a broken head when he finally got through, and went to be right next to him just in case)
4. His super satisfaction that he did it...might i add without mommys help
