What Happens in Vegas. . . . . . .

Can be shared on the blog because we are good little Mormons!! :)
Ha ha! Anyway, this past weekend we made the drive down to Vegas. Last year dearest Brandon got suckered into one of those time share phone calls and booked the trip for 2 night for 90 bucks total...plus we got 2 buffet dinners and 30 cash for going to their shpeal. We were going to use the package for our anniversary...but seems how I was slightly pregnant....(ky was born 2 weeks later) we decided to wait till we could go with him as a family. So we booked it for September 25, 26, &27.
Brandon's parents came with us, which was fun and nice to have the two guys to take turns driving!
We had a great time! Kyler got asked over and over if he was a big winner in the Casinos, and i think his head might have grown from all the stares and compliments...an Oriental lady was irritated when i wouldn't let her hold him while we were watching the fountains at the Bellagio. :)
Ky was a great sport the whole weekend. Even all the driving he took with ease. What a blessing he is in our life.
During our visit we ate lots of good food, walked and walked and walked, saw some of the circus acts at Circus Circus, donated some money to the dang games at Circus Circus ( i wanted the Curious George in a banana peal.. seemed like an easy task...but alas we left with less money and no Curious George)... we watched the fountains at the Bellagio, saw the lions at the MGM visited lots of shops on the Strip, and attempted to go to the temple....but bless my dear heart I forgot my recommend which ruined those plans quickly.

The Big 4 Months!!

Here are his stats from his check-up today:
Weight: 16.9= 80th%
Head: 16 inch= 12th%
Length: 25 inch=53rd%
He has a mini head--especially with how chubby he is!! What a cute little dude! He is healthy little man.. . . just a little sad and sore from his shots!

Well Ky is officially 4 months old. I am having such a hard time believing that he has been with us this long, while it seems like such a short amount of time. My love for the little critter grows and grows, just as he is growing and growing. Here is my monthly list of his loves...
~Sucking on his fists is now his favorite thing to do. . . .no more binki, this makes mom sad. He utterly refuses it these days! :(
~Giggles, Giggles, Giggles!!
~He loves to have to blow on his belly...that causes the love just mentioned
~Everything he will actually grasp (he will only grab it if it is in his pathway, wont reach for things yet) goes in his mouth! Splendid!
~ He absolutely loves his jumper...he bounces around like a Tigger in training!!
(Funny side note, when i got my ultrasounds the nurse always said he was such a mover....i was afraid how he would be if he was such a wiggler before he was even born.....everyday i see him and how much he wiggles his arms and jumps around i am reminded of that little peanut that loved to wiggle before, and loves to wiggle now!)
~ He Rolled over for the first time on the 10th of September from his tummy to his back. While i know he can do it now, cause he did it with no help at all....he will only do it once a day, if that!  While i really want him to start rolling around i also can help but to think of how nice and containable he is right now....bitter sweet! :)
~ He loves to be sang to...latley his favorites are pat-a-cake and ram-sam-sam, and the itsy bitsy spider.
~His FAVORITE toy that he cannot get enough of is those noisy sucking books...ya know the ones that crinkle and have hard corners to chew on. Thanks Grandma Nancy!!

A Long Update!!

To Start off this long update here is a short video of Kyler. I was folding laundry next to him today and he got a hold of the sheet and was eating it, and talking to it. I missed the majority of him talking, but i still think its cute that he loves to suck on it....ok what am i kidding, this boy sucks on anything he can get into his mouth lately! Last Weeks Full of Firsts!!

Well these last two weeks have been full of firsts for Kyler!

1. Kyler's first campfire (last time he was too little to go out, and it was raining)

2. Kyler also took his fist four wheeler ride. This picture was take once he was all unhooked...i strapped him onto me with my front carrier. He loved it (he sucked on my shirt the whole time, he had no idea what was going on! :) )

3. Kylers first time in water (other than a bath) Kyler loved the water! I was surprised i expected him to squawk a little, but no sir! (well not until a wave came up on him the second day and scared him, see next pic)

Shouldn't love this picture so much because he is sad, but its too stinking cute!

4. Last but NOT least on the 10th he rolled from his tummy to his back!! No pictures, but it happened! I have been working with him on it, and in the morning i put him on his tummy for a minute and walked into the other room and when i came back there he was smiling on his back! It hasn't happened since, so i don't know if it was a fluke, but nevertheless it did happen.

Over Labor Day weekend we went camping with Brandon's family. We have a great time four wheeling and just taking it easy. It was a little chilly, but thanks to a good Grandma Nancy (aka my mommy) we had the tent trailer and were able to turn the heater on for the little monkey. It rained 2 of the 3 nights, so we were grateful for the heat.

Then just this weekend we went to Powell with My mom and Gaylen and all his kids.It was beautiful weather and was a great time. I have only been to Powell one other time in my life, and feel jipped, its so fun! Our favorite was taking a spin on the wave runner! I pulled my weight and made sure Brandon eneded up in the water! :)

Just moments after the other picture was taken, Grandmas just have the touch. Ky was out cold when i gave him back to Grandma!

The Happiest Sound in the World

So the last week or so Kyler has started to do a little giggle. Honestly it took me until this weekend to really convince myself he was laughing, but i am sure now cause he is doing it more frequently.  Its so cute and might have brought tears to my eyes once. :) His giggliest time is in the mornings when i blow on his tummy, he loves it.
I will try and capture it once the video camera charges or i go get my camera i left in Brandons parents 4-wheeler. (pictures of this weekend will come when i get it too)
I cannot believe how fast he has grown!!!

Nothin Like a Juicey Tomato!!

I just want to help my brother out again, so for all of you who are in the SLC valley please head out to our family farm and pick up some tomatoes. Yesterday Kyler slept 10 1/2 hours straight!!!! Holy Smokes! I think he takes after his mommy....he loves his sleep! Sleep is much more important than food to this critter!
