I am posting two updates, good for me!!
I just had to write about mine and Brandon's Valentines. I have always loved Valentines Day, but had problems with it as well until I finally met the man of my dreams. Since I met Brandon Valentines Day is just so much more exciting and i feel the love of it so much more!! :)
This Valentines was so special and fun.
Thursday i had to work late, so i threw meatballs in the crock pot for us to have when i got home. I had not planned any further as to what we were going to have for dinner, so when Brandon said he was home i so happily pushed that responsibility onto him. He loves to cook, so really its not a mean thing of me! I told him i would be home no later than 8 and we could eat. Well 8 rolls around, and i call to tell him i will be a while, 8:30 comes and goes with me calling to apologise and telling him to eat with out me....he refused, said he could wait. 8:45 comes and i call and honestly am feeling so bad that i am not home with him eating....i was hungry so i knew he had to be too, and being the emotional woman i am these days had tears welling up in my eyes when i said i didn't think i would be there for another half hour. Finally 9:15 comes around and i can FINALLY leave work. I call Brand and tell him i am on my way and he just says OK see you in a few.
So i walk in and look at the table and there are the most beautiful flowers, candles lite, and dinner all spread out on the table, including a yummy smoothie and brownies for dessert!! Oh gee make a girls heart sing!!! It made my very long night drift right away...that is after i apologized for my being so late about 50 times. We had such a nice dinner. I have the best hubby in the world. I am grateful for him everyday of my life. He really does complete me and make me the happiest person alive. I am still enjoying my beautiful flowers!! I hope they last for a while, they make me smile every time i see them!!

Well then came Valentines Day and i wanted to still do something that day, so i found heart shaped Rib eye steaks at the market, and asparagus...yummy thought I...bought them right up. Then planned to have a red dinner..minus the yummy asparagus. So we had red meat, red jello, red cottage cheese(don't worry just sprinkled paprika on it) with our baked potato, rolls and red jam, red drink, and last but not least chocolate covered strawberries. I had a blast thinking of red things to have for dinner. Here are a few pictures. (I couldn't find my camera the night of my wonderful dinner from Brandon, so these are the only ones i have to share.) Oh and this was the first night we have used my china i bought when i was like 17 that i love!! It was a fun night, just wonderful to have a nice dinner with my man.
The rest of the night was unconventional...Brandon poured a cement step down in "the hole" our basement....but i feel the love from that action....now i wont die when i go down to get food storage!!

Well that's long enough. If you are still reading you deserve a gold metal!!!
