5 Months
So this is going to only have a few pictures...he didn't want to smile today, but i got some cute ones anyway...i have more plans for cuter pictures! So look forward to them! :)
As for the kiddo
~He is sitting up on his own!! Yup i had no idea he could for as long as he can, but today while taking pictures he sat up for 2 minutes straight!! I loved playing and trying to eat all the leaves!
~ He is quite the talker or squawker...he is very vocal at times!
~ He still loves his baths...he is quite the splasher and loves to suck on the wash cloth
~ He is getting super close to rolling from his back to his tummy...just needs to figure out how to move his arm out of the way.
~He can roll from his tummy to his back...he is doing it a little more frequently...wish he would do it more so i wouldn't have to save him so often when he is done with tummy time.
~He loves LOVES little kids. He will just stare and laugh at them. In church Sunday he couldn't get enough of the 6 year old in the bench in front of us.
~We have started giving him fruit in his cereal and he absolutely loves that! He was not loving the plain rice or oat cereal...but now giving him apple sauce in it he scarfs it...literally.
~Sunday he got his first taste of squash and scarfed that as well....he would lean in to get it!!
~He is grabbing for things now, which is so fun. Just have to keep my plate out of the way when he sits with me!!
Well i think that is all for now.

Choose This Day
I just visited lds.org today and this was the clip they had on the site...what an important lesson for us to remember. Today is always a better day to do what we are supposed to be doing. Today is the day that we need to change and be better. These words are more for me than you all, but i thought i would share them with you because if they touched me, they might touch you.

The Sink. . . .A Happy Place
Today Kyler was being fussy and wanted to be close to me...the floor outside of the bathroom would not do today....so what does a mom do so she can still get ready before noon....she becomes inventive!
He loved it. I loved being able to still get ready before noon when he was snoozing!! :)
ps his pants are not floods...he just kicked his legs till they scooted up....he is not a poor orphan with too short of pants!

Growing, Growing, Growing
Dear Kyler,
Please stop this growth spurt...I dont like getting up every 2 hours with you at night to feed you when you typically sleep 10 hours straight! I also am so hungery and thirsty trying to keep up with you and how much you are putting away the last two days!! I am exhusted!!
Plus i want you to stay small. I went through your clothes to put away and organize your newborn and 0-3, and even some 3-6 clothes...your growing toooo fast! PLEASE SLOW DOWN! :)

What Happens in Vegas. . . . . . .
Can be shared on the blog because we are good little Mormons!! :)
Ha ha! Anyway, this past weekend we made the drive down to Vegas. Last year dearest Brandon got suckered into one of those time share phone calls and booked the trip for 2 night for 90 bucks total...plus we got 2 buffet dinners and 30 cash for going to their shpeal. We were going to use the package for our anniversary...but seems how I was slightly pregnant....(ky was born 2 weeks later) we decided to wait till we could go with him as a family. So we booked it for September 25, 26, &27.
Brandon's parents came with us, which was fun and nice to have the two guys to take turns driving!
We had a great time! Kyler got asked over and over if he was a big winner in the Casinos, and i think his head might have grown from all the stares and compliments...an Oriental lady was irritated when i wouldn't let her hold him while we were watching the fountains at the Bellagio. :)
Ky was a great sport the whole weekend. Even all the driving he took with ease. What a blessing he is in our life.
During our visit we ate lots of good food, walked and walked and walked, saw some of the circus acts at Circus Circus, donated some money to the dang games at Circus Circus ( i wanted the Curious George in a banana peal.. seemed like an easy task...but alas we left with less money and no Curious George)... we watched the fountains at the Bellagio, saw the lions at the MGM visited lots of shops on the Strip, and attempted to go to the temple....but bless my dear heart I forgot my recommend which ruined those plans quickly.
Well I always like pictures better than words so here they are
Kyler loved the crinkly lion that Grandma Nancy gave him to play with for the long drive. Thanks mom!!
Home again, Home again....check out his strong neck!! Now if he would roll over again!!
