Pictures
Today i was looking through my moms SD card that i had to borrow to take pictures at Thanksgiving and found some old pictures of ky, and thought i would share...i think they are cute! and i added some new ones...seems like we have been a little short on pictures lately! :)
I have no idea when this was taken...but it is at my moms house and i love it!
Kyler loves the shower attachment. His whole face lights up when we turn it on.
Kylers first time swimming in a big pool...see how excited he is!
Poor kid froze..look at his blue lips!! He loved it, just need to find a pool that is heated next time so we can last longer!
I adore this picture...feel bummed that i just now am finding it!
Look at that sad face he is giving!!
Ky and Grandma Nancy (i think he was like a week and a half)

*Please take your finger out of your nose
*Stop picking your lip
*Time to go potty
*Did you wash your hands
*Mister Magoo!!!
*Dont touch!!
*NO, NO, NO!
*Please Dont
*Clean up time
*Kucky dont put that in your mouth!
*Pew you stink!
*Love you misters!
*Ohhh, cool truck!
* Dont break it or dont rip it!
*Chooooo, Choooooo
*Catch it!
* Good catch
*Good talking!
*Use your words
*Say your sorry
*Say thank you
*Give him a hug, make him feel better
*Where is your blankey or "b" depending on who i am talking to
*What does the _______ say
*Watch my mouth, say ________.
*Please eat, stop playing and eat
Were overwhelmingly on the top of the list. Some days i really feel like i would like to say things in full sentences. :) But i do love my job and love the kids i have to tend right now. They are all the best.
Today at lunch the only little girl i watch told me today she can do anything now that she is 6, she can cook a hot dog, pour her own cereal and milk, make juice, and a sandwich.....i said you can do anything in the whole world, she said yup if i can do those things there is nothing i cant do. :)
I wish i could say that i can cook a hot dog therefore there is nothing i cant do!! Loved it!

Happy Heart Moment
Yesterday i had one of those moments that makes you relize that what you are trying to teach is entering that little head and sticking....even if what you taught them doesnt surface as often as you would like.
I was getting lunch ready for daycare, the big kids upstairs playing and my mommas boy down with me. I set out the little table and chairs and got to cooking. Kyler helped himself up to the little table as he often does, but this time after he sat down he immediatly bowed his head and folded his arms and said "amn" or amen. He did this over and over. Made my heart happy. Now if i could just get him to do it when we all sit down to the table to eat and pray. :)
Just thought i would record it in my "journal" and share my happy mommy moment with you all.

My Kid. . . .
Means the world to me if you havent previously known that. He is truly my pride and joy. I love taking him everywhere with me, not only because he is my best bud and entertainment while walking through stores, but everyone who sees this kid mentions either A. That he has the most beautiful big brown eyes they have ever seen (which is true he does have beautful eyes, im not biased) or B. that he is the happiest, freindliest boy and always leaves them smiling becuase he waves to them and says "hi" or C. those that see him the longest (like dr visits, which have been many this past month, or at church, etc) say he is super smart and such a great talker.
What more could a mommy want to hear than things like that...absolutely nothing.
I am bored this morning, should be doing something else, but instead i am going to do his 18 month post and will update the picture when i finally have a boy that doesn't have sick droopy eyes.
Here is a LONG side note about his heath as it is currently.
Might i say that i was not dreaming or making it up that he was really sick. He has pneumonia, double ear infections, which he got WHILE ON antibiotics, and was dehydrated, not a shocker the kid wont eat and it is a fight to get him to drink. So we had a visit to the hospital yesterday afternoon, had a little boy with little tears of complete fear and anxiety while they put in the IV, and when we left i had a boy with LARGE crocodile tears as they came back to take out that pesky IV. The change in tears, i imagine was the amount of fluid in his body, because he was mucho sad when they put it in, and seemed a shame that he could only muster up those small tears that barley made it out of the crook of his eye. But it was all worth it, going back to the dr. bugging that poor man again, because last night was the first night of NO FEVERS in 4 or 5 nights (sadly i cant remember, probably the lack of sleep). He slept like a rock until 11 :) and woke up crying, i went in, ready for my nightly routine of take temperature, see how bad the damage is this time, get cold rag cause it is 103, figure out if i can give him Tylenol yet, if so, administer it, and then rock the poor sick boy till he falls asleep, hold that darling soul for about 30 more minutes, take temp again, if dropping put him in bed, if the same keep a rocking until it is down to 101. BUT not so last night *sigh of relief* the problem last night that granted 4 wake-ups was, i think, from being spoiled for a week in being held for hours on end at night. He couldn't put himself back to sleep. So we would rock, then put him in bed, he would scream, I would get up rub his back, tell him to go to sleep, and he would cry for 5 more minutes and then wam asleep again. Only 4 times, pretty good i think! :)
So here i sit at the computer at 8:15AM and he is still snoozing, such a good sign! I think we might have found the cure, now we can move back on to the problem that existed before all this yucky snot, fevers, coughs, and tantrums......his diarrhea. It was nice to not worry about it for a while. Besides the fact that i am getting used to not giving him milk or any form of milk to him, which is harder than i thought.
18 months and counting. .. . . . .
My little boy as of now is
24lb which lands him in the 27%
don't remember his height, but also the 27th %
Both shocking because he was this at 15 months
and his head is 46% (also a shocker cause he has such a mini-head usually)
As for his accomplishments, this time i have things i can write!! Yea!
He is such a great talker! He is learning words as fast as we can throw them at him. Seriously. He loves it too.
The other day while driving to my moms for Thanksgiving he was going crazy in the back so i started asking him to say words me and Brandon were dieing in the front because he only missed about 3 or 4 of the 25 or so we asked him. He blew our socks off!!
Yesterday at the dr office he kept calling the dr. "daddy" i told him he is someones daddy, but not his, and that his name is doctor. Kyler looked at him and said "doctr" the dr about died, he could not believe he could say a word that fast after learning it. duh he is my kid, of course he is going to be amazing!! :)
Here is the list of other words you can hear around my house, or if you ask, you will hear:
*Mommy, Daddy, Papa(grandpa), Mama (grandma), Doggie, Baby, beep beep, Nigh night (can be he wants to go to bed, or his blankey), "B" which is what he uses the most for blanket, Juice (all liquids), door, up, done, tackter (tractor), Tzack, (Tyzack a little boy i tend that he loves to death), cow, Tutle (turtle), Cookie, Cheese (although we rarly hear this now he cant eat it), go, "ath" (bath), choo choo (usually means turn on Thomas, but is a train too), kucky, ball, Baby Tess (his cousin), uh oh, "no" (snow, he just shakes his head no, for no), ok there are lots more, but i think i am done for now. :)
He is also really quite the tease. He is always making us laugh.
He loves to watch Thomas and "maml" (elmo)
He loves Tyzack and gets so excited when he gets here. They play so cute together, i love it!
When you ask him a question he nods his yes and does it with such conviction...its so cute.
He likes being a big boy and eats at the table now in a booster.
He LOVES to play in the piano
He loves to do things himself, or at least try....like he trys so hard to hang up his coat, but cant quiet reach, so he always ends up coming back to ask for help.
He has a cookie/candy dance...he does it when he really wants a treat you are offering him.
He is getting super curly hair, i love it! His daddy doesn't like it as much as me :)
here is a movie of some of his words....i did it just to have not to post so its kinda long, sorry.

Thanksgiving
I love Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday. No stress that Christmas brings, not super busy like Christmas is, it is just perfect. This year was no exectption. We got to have my whole family together this year...yes the whole family (minus Jakes little boy Mitchell) We have not had the entire family together in YEARS. It was so fun and so nice. All of Gaylens family was there, which is always such a treat, i love them all just as if we were all raised together in the same family. I have been blessed with an incredible family.
Here is the crew....a grad total of 46 people in our family!!
Finn and Kyler enjoying some reading time with Grandma
The whole family
Kids table
Ky wouldn't eat for us all day on Thanksgiving, but he sure did like his first ice cream cone!!! (funny side note is that he kept saying "ha, ha, ha" or hot hot hot while eating it. Also sad note is he threw that yummy icecream cone up that night while we were all downstairs enjoying a movie, not till we came up to bed did we smell that foul smell and found him sleeping in his own puke. Poor poor boy!)
My future piano player!! He absolutely loved loved loved that grand piano of my moms. He could not leave it alone. He was the only grandkid out of i think 19 or something that even bothers that piano, and he cannot get enough of it! I told him he couldn't pound the keys and showed him how to plunk the keys with one finger, yup he listened to his mommy like a good boy, and plunked those keys all 3 days we were there.
An Update and Some Thoughts
Update:
So i havent updated for a while, and that is ususally unlike me. Especially cause i havent even done Kylers 18month pictures or update for his book. Why is this, oh cause we cannot seem to be healthy around here. Not so much me (although i have a cold, but all pregnancy sickness has finally subsided) not really Brandon(although he did have a nasty 24 hour flu yuckyness yesterday), but my poor darling best bud, he is the sick one around here, and its killing me.
I think i mentioned in a post before that Ky was sick with diahreah. That is an understatement. He has been so super sick, not eating, not gaining weight, and honestly a holy terror at throwing fits, which is so out of the norm for my little angel boy. He has had diareah for about a month and a half (feel bad for the pregnant woman for changing that many nasty diapers please, and feel bad for our pocket book that has had to buy more diapers than ever too) :)
Now 2 drs later, and waiting for a dr appointment with Primarys, we think we might have an idea of what it is. Dairy. We have cut all dairy out of the dairy loving little boys diet, and we got 2 good poops out of him before the next wave of unhealthyness took over his poor broke down body and spirit. He has a nasty cold, fevers that stay in the range of 100-103, little sleep, snotty nose, horrible cough, and even an eye infection. I honestly dont think this little boy of mine even knows what feeling good feels like. So pray for this little man that he will get better from this ailement, so we can move back to the other and get it all good and squared away.
So with that all said now i am going to ranble cause that is what i feel like doing, if you want to read it, go for it, but it is likely it will not make sense. :)
Thoughts:
When we were trying to get pregnant with Kyler over that long misrable year i heard many moms pregnant with their second + child say things like, "oh ya, i am pregnant" or "I am so wound up in what my kids are doing i just dont even remember that i am pregngnt." Things like that used to bother me to no end. I was so jealous that they were even pregnant, i couldnt imagine how you could forget such a blessing (not to mention all the side effects of pregnancy). It bothered me even more when they would say it once i was pregngnt, becasue that was such a wonderful time for me and Brandon. That baby was the topic of 95% of all out converstaions. I could not fathum forgetting about that growing moving little babe in me.
Why do i mention all this, because with all the stress of Kyler's health, and with daycaring, i can honestly say i forget that i am pregnant, which in return breaks this moms heart over and over again. We had to fight to get this baby too, i cried tears of joy when i found out everything worked out for us again, so how can i forget about it. Dont know, it really bugs me. On the brighter side i guess all this business, and being preoccupied with all the kids i do have to love and hold, this pregnancy seems to be flying. I am officially out of my first trimester, which with Ky seemed like an eternity. I get to find out what it is on the 3rd of January which is something to look forward to. The baby is healthy and wiggling and rolling all over in me. I am grateful to have this baby to look forward to, i am so grateful for my little boy that i get to wake up to crying in the room next door for his mommy. I am grateful for an amazing husband and for all his support, and for good friends and family that keep me sane when, lets be honest, i am the furthest thing from sane these days! :) Wow thanks for reading if you still are. I just sometimes need to vent so i can contiune on.
Look for a 18 month post soon...i just need ky to be healthy and happy enough to take some good pictures of him.

laughter
- At the height of laughter, the universe is flung into a kaleidoscope of new possibilities. ~Jean Houston
- Even if there is nothing to laugh about, laugh on credit. ~Author Unknown
- What
soap is to the body, laughter is to the soul. ~Yiddish Proverb
Back to my story and why laughter is key..... tonight i decided before bath i would let the little boy run around in his birthday suit while filling the bath tub and cleaning up dinner. I was a little worried, i have done it before and ended up with a puddle, but i, again am completely desperate, so we let him run free! He was free about 5-10 mintues when i went to get him for bath, and what did i find, a happy little boy watching himself pee on my floor, laughing saying "juice". I lost it and laughed myself. awww felt good to laugh and to not care that there was pee on my tile, atleast it wasnt on my carpet! :)
I am blessed to be a mom, and blessed to have a darling little boy to worry over. How boring and stress free life would be if i didn't have my best little bud!
