She is Eight months. 8. Eight. Holy Smokes. It seems like i just had her, and yet here she is
*in the beginning stages of crawling
*Babbling...not as much as we would like. Only does "babababa" even though mom and daddy work with her on her "mamama" and "dadada" all day long
*Loving on her big brother. He is her hero. He is her happiness and joy. He can get her giggling in 1 second flat. Loving taking baths with Big Brother, this is when giggles are in an over abundance.

| splashing fun...yes that is shaving cream on the wall, and yes that is why the bathwater is yellow grossness. Kyler felt bad that i wouldn't let Brooklyn in the colored shaving cream, so he decided to splash with her. |
*Trying to pull herself up to her feets. She has already mastered pulling herself up to her knees. Her favourite place is playing on brothers train table.
*Trying to crawl...she pushes herself with her toes...she looks like an inch worm. She pushes her little bum up and then slides forward. It is fun to watch. I am sure she will be crawling in no time. SCARY, and a blessing. *She wasts to keep up with all the daycare kids so desperately.
*Eating food like a champion. There is nothing she doesn't like. Nothing. We have tried all sorts of things. She goes hog wild over table food, Graham crackers, Ritz crackers, cottage cheese, bananas, and is just now starting to figure out the whole sippy cup thing. Its hard work.
*scaring mommy...I noticed a bump on the back of her head while putting it in full pigtails the other day. Never noticed it before. It was hard as hard, so i slightly panicked. Took her to the Dr. Got x-rays that showed it was abnormal. Went for a CT scan at primary's Tuesday and still waiting on the results. But, the radiologist came in while we were there and said she thought it was abnormal, but normal. :) Nothing to worry about. I am hoping that is what the final report says too. Being a mommy is hard i have decided. Hard to know what is fine, what isn't, and when to freak out and when not to. Better safe than sorry right?

| Her getting her CT scan. She was such a good, brave girl. Not a tear, not a look of fear. Super content. AMAZING. |
*She is a big time Mommy's girl. I'm not just saying that either. She kinda loves me a lot. :) She reaches for me even when daddy has her. Funny girl.
*She is a KISSER. Look out, she will come at anyone and give you a gigantic slobbery kiss. Love her kisses. Even though i need a towel when she is done smooching.
*She is a bugger to sleep at night. She still wakes up at least once a night. Over Christmas it was reaching up to 5 times a night. Makes for a sleepy mommy and daddy. Silly girl. Sleep through the night!! Pretty Please. *She just got moved upstairs into the "storage room" so that we can try and sleep train her a little without her waking up brother. Not a glorious room, Brookie, sleep through the night and you can go back down with big brother, he misses you.
fun side note: The other night i though Kyler had gone to bed, i was in watching a movie while Brandon was gone with church stuff. I decided to go check on Brooklyn upstairs cause i could hear a thumping sound on the ceiling. Got to the top of the stairs and about fell back down cause there was Kyler laying on the floor in front of her door slightly open. I asked him what he was doing, he was missing his "sissy". Oh Ky, your a sucker for the beautiful girl too huh!!
*She has a collection of nicknames: Most common right now is, "sissy"(kylers name for her) , "sister suzie" "sissser" (kylers name for her), and "pretty girl" along with the typical, Brookie, Brooklee, brookielyn
We love this girl. Love her love her. She has a ton of hair, beautiful dark eyes and between those two features she is a show stopper. :)
