So Far Behind

May is such a busy time. Im so far behind on this blog. But I am going to catch up this week...that's my goal. So stay tuned.
But just to wet your whistle....

I'm now 23 weeks pregnant. There is so much to tell with this baby. I really want to journal it. So it will be first. This post title will change and it will become a real post. But, for now. Here is how I compare to Kyler, Brooklyn, and Parley at 23 weeks....I really am so much bigger.......older. Insane how much we change in 5 short years of motherhood!  :)

Brooklyn Kay is Three

Oh my sweetest Brooklyn Kay.
You family adores you. You are the silliest, craziest, sassiest, little lady I know. You get so shy around new people. Or even people you know but haven't seen for a few days. You dont like it when people talk to you out in public. You are insane at home and love to play outside. You are your brothers shadow. You love your babies, and rock them to sleep each night. You adore your baby brother and try to help with him all day long. You love your friends that come to play, but in the end, you would prefer to play alone. You hate nursery. You start getting anxious and nervous the minute the speakers say amen in sacrament meeting. You love to sing, you love to learn. You feel left out when Kyler talks about school. You love your nails done. You love to color and draw. You love Lala Loosies, My Little Ponies, Curious George, and DragonTales. You don't really eat well. You are the pickiest eater of the family. You love CHOCOLATE and treats and don't like peaches and grapes. In fact you throw a fit at times when you see them on your plate. You love hotdogs and pizza.
You are a water loving girl and play it in in the kitchen sink as often as allowed. You will help wash dishes just to get near water. Your favorite job is to put the soap in the dishwasher and start it. Your least favorite job is to take poopy diapers outside.
You adore your daddy. You are scared to death of Sadie when she is on a chain. (you got caught in the  dog chain one day and since then you are mortified of going near her) You love your bunnies and love to hold them too. You love to snuggle and ask frequently during the day to be held. You love to brush your own hair, but hate having it washed. You love baths, but don't really like showers. You have to pick your clothes out, but try your hardest most days to match colors. You are known to try and go places with mismatched shoes so you don't have to go find the match. You are scared to death of flys and bees. And thanks to a friend of Kylers who told you black birds can carry you away, you come screaming into the house in complete panic if you see a black bird.
You love to talk on the phone. You love your grandmas. You are known to bug your brother to all ends at night time when he wants to sleep and you want to play. You don't go to bed easily most nights. You prefer to talk and sing and again, bug your brother.
You are everything I could have hoped for in a daughter. I love you more than words can say. Thank you for blessing my life and being my beautiful buddy. Lately you love to while being held, grab my face with both hands and tell me how you love my eyes, earings, and me soo much. Its pretty much my favorite thing. You are so sensitive and sweet. You also are suborn and know what you want and will stomp that adorable little foot and scowl when you are met with adversity to your plan. You are also known to get mad at the dinner table and run to your room and throw the covers over your head and fall fast asleep. We usually just let you stay there, and you will sleep through the night. Even if this happens at 6:30PM.

For your birthday you got to choose your cereal, which was marshmallow captain crunch, and then for snack you wanted to dip strawberries and pretzels and marshmallows in chocolate. Daycare loved your request. :) For dinner you chose pizza, no surprise there.
Moms disclaimer to your cake....you chose it. You wanted green frosting with purple and pink sprinkles. Don't judge the horrible looking cake....I tried. :)

 Making 3 is hard stuff.
 watching Frozen with BooBoo
Your cake....again, I am capable of much cuter things!!

My favorite present you got. Mommy and daddy gave you this rocking chair cradle.

We adoped Uncle Chase and Aunt Missys family tradition of taking the first bite of the cake.

Tomatoes and Fun

Sadly, its a rare occasion that all 3 kids can play nicely without fighting, crying, screaming with one another. But this particular day they found the clam shell of cherry tomatoes and were playing horses (Kyer) and Horse Rider (Brooklyn) and baby horse (Parley) Brookie nicely fed the horses cherry tomatoes and they played like that for almost an hour it was beautiful.

Frist Corn on the Cob of the Year

Oh how delicious corn on the cob is. It was on sale and even though it was only early May and i knew it would be the best of the best, i caved to the kids pleas and we had some for dinner. To say they loved it is an understatement.

Womens Conference 2014

I got the opportunity to take some time off work one Friday and go up and spend some much needed time with my mom. It was so wonderful to just catch up and chat. It was the first time we had a chance since she got home from her mission. I come from a pretty amazing family, and have some pretty amazing aunts. My Aunt Becky was a facilitator person (dont know her title) Aunt Janet taught one of the classes on Thursday, i so wished i could have heard. And then of course Aunt Linda who spoke and it was wonderful. It was so fun to see so many of my cousins there. I love my Burtons!

Daybreak Park

Oh how we wish we lived closer to awesome parks like this!! While Parley and me went to his well child check Aunt Hil took the older two to this park. How fantastic of a place!! Ky didn't leave the water and Brooklyn wouldn't leave the slide. It was FREEZING cold and windy outside, but you wouldn't know. I had to pull them away.

Brookie and Madie so cute together. Cousins are the best!

Parley Jacob is One

My baby boy is one. That year went so quickly. This baby is a complete joy. His crinkled smiles melt me to a puddle and get him whatever it is he wants. He is so very spoiled. So very loved. He has the most adorable curls and dark eyes. He loves to tease. He loves to giggle. He loves to climb. He is a fast crawler and even does the stink bug crawl. He refuses to walk. He loves snuggles and loves kisses. Loves Kisses. He is so ticklish. He loves faces and will stroke it when being rocked. He adores his daddy. He tolerates his brother and sister most days. Other days he adores them. He loves dogs. He loves wagon rides to feed the chickens and around the yard. He loves the sandbox. He loves rides on the power wheels with Brother and sister. He loves food. Havnt found anything he doesn't like. He loves fruits and veggies the most. He loves his bottle (which we have just last week took away but he is almost 14 months now). He loves to drive Kylers trucks around and makes the cute truck sound the whole time. He loves the cozy coupe that now stays in the house all the time to make him happy (remember I said spoiled) He is an unpredictable sleeper. Some days he naps 4 hours others and hour. Some days two times a day, others just once. He keeps mommy guessing. He doesn't really talk. Mostly just dada and da (for dog). He has horrible no good rotten ears. Which we blame for his lack of talking and walking. He couldn't hear well until April when he got his tubes put in. Now he is catching up. He loves to be outside. He gets horribly jealous when brother and sister get to go out and he has to stay in while mommy finishes cleaning up or making dinner. He love to eat rocks, dirt, chalk and crayons. He is a human vacuum. He loves to color on paper, chalkboards or walls. He goes by and will answer to any of the following names: Parley, ParJay, ParPar, Boo, or Parley Jake. Most commonly called ParJay and Boo.

 Pushing his new bus

He wanted that cake so badly!

 Chocolate, trucks, "dirt" and "rocks". . . . . . . Everything he loves

"oh man this is the life!"

For his birthday we got him a wagon and he loves it so much. He pushes it around and loves going for rides. He loved his birthday cake and couldn't believe we let him dig right in. We even put candy rocks on it for him to eat!
 His stats at one year:
Height:19.6 28%
Weight: 19.5 20%
Head: 18.2 50%
Small and healthy!

Love you Mister ParJay!

This is picture overload. I'm warning you. Sorry this what happens when I don't update like I should.

These are from March of this year. One of the daycare kids left their salsa on the table and Parley found it and brought it down to his level and gobbled it up. See that face, how could do you anything but snap a picture and leave him to his salsa.

ParJay isn't exactly a smooth teether like his big brother. These teeth and ears have been the death of this baby. It breaks my heart. He gets so unhappy. This particular day daddy wanted a happy baby, therefore he gave him oreos. As you can see it changed his whole attitude. April 2014

 He found the Tupperware cupboard.....

Teething baby = lots of popsicles. He isn't complaining
What baby doesn't love pulling the toilet paper out?
