Brooklyns Tonsils Out

She did so good when she had her tonsils out. She came out of surgery and went right to sleep. No screaming, crying as she came out of being put out. It was amazing. Even the nurses were floored at how good she did. Her recovery was extremely rough on us, so she make up for it there. She had them out because she was choking on her food horribly and was having a hard time breathing at night because they were so large. My sweet girl.

This is my favorite picture of her. So peaceful ans sweet.
at home watching Lala Loopsie with Mitten her baby and a Popsicle. Life is grand.
She is pale and scary looking in this, but it shows how open her eyes are when she sleeps. Its just plain creepy!!

Like i mentioned her recovery was long and drawn out. It took almost 2 full weeks before she could sleep in her own room cuase she would wake up screaming 2-4 times a night. Poor girl. We used a whole large bottle of ibuprofin and another large bottle of tylonal to keep her comfortable. We rotated between the two for almost the 2 weeks. I was worried, but she is fine now and sleeps better and hasnt choked on her food since.
We passed time by stringing beads, getting lots of ICEE's and Frazles from the gas station. Sweetest big sister shared her special drinks with both brothers each and every time she got one....which was daily, sometimes 2 times daily just to keep her content. She also made sure Ky and Boo got a Popsicle each time she did. We went through an absurd amount of Popsicle!
She and Ky even did my toes one day to help distract her. It was supposed to be her getting the pedicure and manicure...but doing mom sounded like much more fun. It was the most colorful and painful pedicure i ever hope to have. :)

Ky even got his nails filed
