My biggest little man turned two last week. Friday to be exact. Oh how i love this little man. He is everything happy in my life. He makes being a mom so exciting, so fun, so frustrating :), so rewarding, and so wonderful.
My favorite things about this little boy include, but are never limited to:
*Him talking. He is a huge talker. He is talking in sentences now, which always cracks me up. He can get 3 to 4 words in a sentence, although the longer the sentence the bigger the gap between the words, so you have to be careful not to cut him off, cause he gets super frustrated when you do that!
*He is irrevocably attached to TRACTORS lately. He loves love playing with tractor toys, riding his tractor toy, and going for rides in daddys "BIG TRACTOR!!"
*He knows colors, but refuses to tell you the right names. He calls everything "beeue" or blue no matter the color. Although he is getting to really like orange lately too, so he will give that one the correct name. (and that is because the BIG TRACTOR is orange)
*He is in love with his little sister. He loves to hold her, kiss her head, help burp her, and my favorite he kneels down by the chair she is in and stares at her and says "hi Brookie, Brookie hi.. Hi Brookie, Brookie HI!!"
*He loves to play with cars
*He loves Elmo, Thomas, Cars, and Toy Story
*His "B" or blanket is still his #1 best bud that cannot leave his side.
*When he wants to play he will come up to you and say "games?"
*He is so not eating lately (this is the frustrating part of mommyhood) But he will always eat anything fruit or vegetable. We have a serious vegetarian on our hands....well that is unless we offer pig in any of its forms (ham, bacon, sausage, pork chops) he loves his pig!! :) He hates chicken, especially when its shredded. It gives him the shudders and he scratches it off his toung, its quiet funny and irritating at the same time!
*I love saying prayers with him. He loves to list all his cousins, and all his aunts and uncles....ALL by name. Some prayers are really long! :) He loves to pray for the doggies and all his friends that come play too. He is getting really good about saying the prayer along with us, which makes me so proud. He gets it. Our favorite is when we say "amen". He says it with such vigor that we bust out laughing every night, it has never gotten old. :) One day i might have to catch it on camera just for posterity sake.
*He is still the perfect traveler. He never gets mad to get in the car. We dont even have to turn movies on for him. He is just content to play with a truck or some toy, and then usually falls asleep for the remainder of the trip. He is wonderful like that!! :)
*His 2 year old stats:
~weight: 27.5 lbs 44%tile
~height: 33.25 inches 21%tile
~head: 18 inches 23%tile
We absoultly adore our little boy. He is everything wondeful and excting to me. I love to love him, and he makes it so easy to do. He is a special little boy. He is very atuned to peoples needs. He hates it when his cousin gets put in time out...i always say he is Huestons best advocate. He will go try and help him out of time out, or if i am smarter/faster than him and get there before they make thier great escape, he will simply sit down with him while Hueston serves his time in time out, then they get up together and continue playing.
Kyler also while staying at my moms after i had Brooklyn was a sweet tender hearted boy and on a couple occastions was just what my mom needed to cheer her up. He is sensitive and loving, he loves to give hugs and kisses, he calls people by their name...he remembers peoples names, he is messy, crazy, a nut and a half, he is hyper, has a hard time concentrating at times, and is a hoot and a half. He like to make you smile and does whatever he deems necessary to get that smile out of you.
I love this boy.
