Easter 2011

Easter this year, like i mentioned before was slightly different than planned. We had hyped the kids up Friday night and early Saturday morning for their egg hunt/egg rolling, and coloring 60, yes 60 eggs. So when everything fell apart, plans for such activities kind of went out the window. But, the kids were begging, they needed to get out of the gloomy sad house, and we needed something to occupy ourselves and our minds. So we got the egg decorating things out, colored those 60 eggs, which they LOVED. Kyler is so into doing it himself, i came out of it with blue green hands from trying to prevent splashes.
With all the eggs colored, me and Maddy filled a bunch of plastic eggs, then gathered her daddy and Kylers daddy and the 3 adults, and 3 kiddos headed to a HUGE white rock to roll our eggs down. How fun! Then daddy's hide the eggs in the roughest terrain known to 3 kids (6 years, 4 years, and 2 years) They didn't seem to mind all the sharp rocks and rough terrain. They managed to find all the eggs, and came back to Grandma Nancy's with full bags!
They seemed to enjoy their day which was what we wanted. They were sure happy little people to cheer up anyone who saw them that day.
