This Little Miss is 28 weeks
This week means more to me than I think it probably should. Why, you ask? Well since my first Child Development class i took in high school and then in the 5 or so i took in college i have learned about the age of vitality, which means if if the baby is born now, their chance of survival is very high. I remember learning about week 28 in school and always thinking it would be such a relief to know that at that time, your worrying would lessen at least a little knowing if something, heaven forbid, went wrong, and you had to deliver your baby, its chance for survival is very good.So I am now 28 weeks. This means more this pregnancy than last time, and it is probably cause the problems i have had this pregnancy have surfaced much earlier than the high blood pressure in Kylers pregnancy(they didnt come till i was 30 weeks). I by no means plan on having this little monkey early, although i do plan on not taking her to 40 weeks...i mean come on people Ky was 7 lb 2 oz 4 weeks early!!! :) But to know, that if something did happen, she would be fine in the long run if she came now (she would still be so so tiny and too too early to be ok to come right home with me) brings a huge sigh of relief. Can you hear it!?
Just thought i would share one of my many thoughts that run through this crazy brain of mine! :)
Here is to a healthy 3rd Trimester!!
