Saturday Brandon had to go to the farm and help his dad and brothers tag the new calf's to their moms. So I told Kyler if he ate all his breakfast (which was a real threat cause he has not been eating well this past week) he could go to the farm. Shock to mom, my threat paid off...for the first time in Kylers short life! :) he gobbled his oatmeal and banana in about 15 minutes flat. We got our clothes and headed down to the farm (might i add not without a total meltdown when mommy wouldn't let him wear his nice boots, and tried to put roper boots we got as a hand-me-down. So he went in tennis shoes...oh i love my little temper tantrum son! :) )
We got to the farm, and honestly Ky was super nervous at first. He has been around the cows and horses before, but it has been a while, and i think he forgets how BIG they are! I decided it would be better to take him to the shoot where the calves were all stuck and let him check that out first...and that's all it took. He started warming up to the large creatures, and soon enough me and him climbed the fence in with all the mommy cows. :) He went bazerk in love! :) He was mooing at the cows and even joined in to yell "Get in there" to a couple of the moms and babies. I was cracking up the majority of the time.
The best of all is he was being packed around by his favorite Uncle "Twavis" and they were bellering like a baby calf to get the momma cow to notice we had them and come "claim" their baby. It took a few times, and then Kyler joined in. Really so super cute!! At that point i had to grab my camera and I caught it on tape, so here is that and a few pictures of our fun at the farm.
